3 steps to alkalizing yourself 

My Mother Says that having an optimal PH balance is key to leading a healthy life. 

1. Good hydration – this allows us to optimally eliminate byproducts.  Remember the importance of water. After all we can survive for a few months without food but we will last only about 10 days without water. Note there are studies which show that drinking a simple 8-10 glasses of water a day could significantly ease back and joint pain for up to 80% of sufferers. Drinking 5 glasses of water daily decreases the risk of colon cancer by 45% and the risk of bladder cancer by 50%. 

2. Diet. An alkalizing diet is vegetable rich and fiber rich. Note one of the most alkaline foods in the world is a lemon. It’s PH level is 9.0. It is the most potent with most immediate relief for cough, flu, heartburns, hyperacidity and other virus-related ailments. Lemons are natural antiseptic that disinfects and heals wounds. Lemon is also the best liver tonic that detoxifies and energizes the liver. Next to lemons are the watermelons which are also highly alkalizing. Because of its high fiber and water content at 92% of its entire weight, watermelon is a mild diuretic and a great source of beta-carotene, lycopene and vitamin C. Watermelons are seen as the most life and energy supporting food when used in a week-long fasting and colon cleansing.

3. Cut refined sugars. Refined sugar is white sugar. White sugar is made from processing sugar cane or sugar beets. It is a pure carbohydrate food. 99.5% is simply sugar with no nutrition, minerals or vitamins. Raw sugar cane found in nature is combined with an array of enzymes, 3 different vitamins, and 7 different minerals. These sugar molecules are also bonded with vitamins and minerals which makes it easier for the body to absorb.
